A comprehensive self-study course designed to support and guide you through the intricate journey of parenting teenagers, equipping you with the knowledge and tools to foster understanding, communication, and resilience in an ever-changing world.

If daily life with your teenager feels like a roller‑coaster of eye‑rolls, closed doors and late‑night worry, you’re not alone.
But you don’t need to wait months for a family‐therapy appointment — or empty your savings — to get expert help. Dealing with Teenagers is a self‑paced online course that gives you the same evidence‑based tools a psychologist uses with families every day, for a fraction of the cost of a single session.
Communication gridlock – talks turn into fights, or worse, silence
Sleepless worry over mental health – is this “normal” teen angst or something serious?
Screen‑time battles – endless negotiations that drain everyone
Parent burnout – you can’t pour from an empty cup

Module 5 walks you through scripts, timing and body‑language tweaks that melt resistance and invite real conversation.
Modules 1, 3 & 4 decode modern adolescence, the mental‑health continuum and the 7 S’s (from Sadness to Suicidal Ideation) so you can spot red flags early and intervene confidently.
Module 4 gives pragmatic, non‑punitive strategies drawn from Digital Nutrition™—created by your instructor, psychologist Jocelyn Brewer.
Module 6 turns the lens back on you with realistic self‑care frameworks and a “support‑team map” so you stay resourced and calm.

12 bite‑size video lessons (6–18 min each) you can watch over lunch or while dinner’s in the oven.
2 downloadable playbooks packed with reflection prompts, role‑play exercises and a deep dive into the 7S’s with more resources and support
Lifetime skills - the course shows you how to think about adolescent behaviour, so you’re equipped for every new curve‑ball.

You can easily watch an episode over lunch, on the commute home or in less than time than it takes to cook dinner of an evening.
The course has been designed for you to dedicate about 30 mins per episode to watch it and then complete the activities, read over the material and do the other reflections.
We totally understand that you've got a full schedule and a full life so we've intentionally designed this course to fit around you and your time commitments.
We suggest you dedicate a regular, non negotiable time to working through it so it doesn’t add to digital clutter and get buried on your to-do list.
There’s nothing to ‘fix’ but hopefully you will gain a range of insights into your teens behaviours and motivations (or lack thereof), build new perspectives to approach talking to them, and develop confidence in guiding them through to adulthood.
